Zinc Cyanide is obtained with a formula Zn(CN). This inorganic polymer is white in color and it is insoluble in most solvents. Zinc cyanide is used in metal plating, electroplating, in preparing insecticides, removing ammonia from producer gas, mining and gold extraction. It is also used as a chemical reagent, and in medicine and chemical analysis.
The physical and chemical property of Zinc Cyanide is that it has a melting point of 800 °C or 1,470 °F temperature. It is soluble in alkalis, potassium cyanide and ammonia but insoluble in water and most of the other solvents. It is also known by several alternative name they are ai3-28752, Zinkcyanid, Dicyanozinc, ZINC CYANIDE, zincdicyanide, cyanuredezinc, Zinc cyanide, rcrawastenumberp121, zinccyanide (zn(cn)2), ZINCCYANIDE. Zinc cyanide is used in metal extraction and their refining, photography, manufacturing and fumigation.
